Dining with Dahlia

Hey!  Y'all doing okay?  It's hot and humid here.  I put this tablescape/vignette together and I got a free sauna!  Drip, drip, drip!  Good ole summer time in the deep south.  Can I move away until November arrives with its cool air, please?

I brought out a painting my daughter did back in her early school days.  It acts as a backdrop and ties in nicely with the dahlias and rose of Sharon.














I picked up the plates at a discount store a few years back.




I am seriously in love with dahlias now.  I had no idea what I was missing.



The painting picks up the colors of the fresh cut flowers.
