Rearranged Art

Hey!  How are y'all?  There are few flowers gathered up from the yard for you to see today.

The mantel has a new look.  This floral painting traveled the house and ended up on the mantel.  It's definitely a Summer/Spring look but I may leave it up through Fall and Winter.  I always miss the color outside in the Winter so I can have an indoor garden look. : )  I don't have a frame for the painting so I hung a framed print and leaned the painting in front so it has the appearance of having a frame. (That's a little secret between me and you!)

This mirror did live behind the sofa but it's across the living room now and is living next to a chair.  My bird cage came out and there's a mixture of metal colors there.  Silver, antique brass and the birdcage is supposed to be a light gold.  I don't see light gold, I see silver but it's okay either way.  I used some touch up car paint on the bird cage.

This large print has been living upstairs in my bedroom and also lived near the front door for a long time.  I have never been happy with this wall, it seemed too narrow to put a large piece there, but I was so wrong.  It's actually wider than the other side in the corner.  The larger print fits nicely here.

The young lady with the sheep used to live above the tv but she is now behind the sofa here.  The mother and children were on my mantel.

My daughter's baby picture.  Here you can see the mirror better.

I bought those African violets at really good price but they were in small terracotta pots.  I painted them gold and glued the ribbon on them.  The roses had white pots and I did the same gold on them.  Yes, that's an anniversary clock, remember them?  The original cloche!

One of my sweet mother-in-law's sweet doilies she gifted me.
