Girlfriends Day
Hey! I want you to come over and have coffee/tea/soft drink/water whatever with me today. How do you feel about having a girlfriends day every so often and chat about things we ladies like to talk about. We will give it a go and then see if it was enjoyable for you! I have a few things to share with y'all.
Jane Beiles
Isn't this just yummy!
Jane Beiles
It would be perfect for Fall and Winter with those rich red walls. I love red and I think the lighter blue helps cool the room a little so you would still enjoy it in the warmer months. It really grabs your attention, it's not a shy room.
Found on Beacham.com
This is a real estate listing and it just jumped out at me. It looks like a very nice friendly room where you would want to go and enjoy reading or visiting with friends. There's lots of natural light and look at that fireplace. We can pretend we are sitting in here and chatting.
Country Living
I am not normally drawn to a neutral but this wall color is really nice. It's a brown without the yellow. It is a very nice color. This is the best between all the gray walls and then the beige. This is rich without feeling heavy. Would this be considered 'greige'?
House of Turquoise
This wallpaper is beautiful. Birds and vine are always pretty. Wallpaper really is coming back strong. Look how dramatic it is and just decorates this area beautifully. You don't need much when the walls are papered.
Do you love it? I do. It's a pillow from One King's Lane. No, I haven't received any compensation or the pillow from them but I can lust over it. Did you know about Betsy Speert's new fabric line that she is working on?! She has florals in her home, I wonder if she will have any in her collection. Just cannot wait to see her line!

This is the prettiest dress! The sleeve length makes it work for every age.

I love this look with the light blue and red bag. I am going to tell you ladies, you need your best friend to honestly tell you what you look like in these pants. A pair of thick white jeans smooth everything out.

It's August and hot as ever but you know Fall is coming. I love this but prefer the navy cardigan that actually buttons in the front. This would mess up the hair too much putting it on and off. I like a lower neckline, rounded necklines close to the face only make your face look plumper so unless you have a lean face try to go with a v neck pullover.
Are you a Downton Abbey fan? The new season 6 is going to begin in January 2016. I can't wait, what about you? If you are late or haven't watched the show, here is a rundown of most of the characters on the show.
Sophie McShera as Daisy
McShera plays the young kitchen worker Daisy. She got her big break in 2007 when she appeared in the BBC drama "Waterloo Road." McShera has appeared in every episode of "Downton Abbey."
Siobhan Finneran as Ms. O'Brien
Siobhan has starred on many British TV series including "Coronation Street" and "Benidom." On "Downton," she plays a scheming Lady's Maid that fans love to hate.
Jim Carter as Mr. Carson
Jim has been acting for several decades and brings an endearing edge to the Butler, Mr. Carson, who always seems to know what to do in sticky situations.
Brendan Coyle as Mr. Bates
Brendan started acting late in his career and was last seen in "Jericho" before signing on to play Lord Crawley's old friend and then Valet in "Downton."
Michelle Dockery as Lady Mary Crawley
Michelle is a jazz singer who also starred in the Academy Award winning movie "Anna Karenina." Michelle has her hands full with Lady Mary, the eldest daughter of the Crawley family, and a bit of a wild child.
Joanne Froggatt as Anna Bates
Joanne has been on several BBC shows throughout her career, but she says she really enjoys playing Anna, the head housemaid at "Downton."
"[She's] the kind of person I would want as a friend," she says of her character.
Laura Carmichael as Lady Edith Crawley
Laura's only other role to date was as Sal in "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" (2011). In "Downton" she plays the middle daughter, Lady Edith, who is often jealous of her sisters.
Elizabeth McGovern as Cora Crawley / Countess of Grantham
Elizabeth garnered an Academy Award nomination back in 1981 for role as Evelyn in "Ragtime." On the hit PBS Masterpiece, she stars as the strong, yet endearing, matriarch of the family.
Maggie Smith as Violet Crawley
Maggie has been acting since the '50s and has won numerous awards including two Academy Awards and three Golden Globes. In 2011 and 2012 she won an Emmy for her portrayal of Violet Crawley, the stubborn, ultra-powerful grandmother on the show.
Hugh Bonneville as Lord Grantham / Robert Crawley
Hugh is somewhat familiar as he's been on tons of TV shows and movies. On "Downton" he plays the patriarch of the family and master of the house, Lord Grantham (left).
Dan Stevens as Matthew Crawley
Dan is a pretty diverse guy, having starred on TV and in stage productions for years. He is also a contributor to London's Daily Telegraph and The Times and he is editor-at-large for The Junket.
As Matthew Crawley on the show, he doesn't need to work nearly that hard as he is the heir to the Crawley fortune.
Phyllis Logan as Mrs. Hughes
Logan plays the voice-of-reason Mrs. Hughes on "Downton Abbey." Her character keeps the staff in line and often solves problems in the house.
