Zinnias, Dahlias and Apples
I hope you had a good July 4th. We do have so much to be thankful for living in our country.
I have been putting together our guest bedroom. It was used as a guitar/music room for a good while. Thankfully it is back to being a real bedroom again.
It's close to being through and I hope to share it with your very soon.
It's roses and dusty pink striped wallpaper. It was originally my daughter's bedroom.
I am figuring out the bedding and have to hang a few pieces of art. Well, I mean decorative wall accessories!
Yes, I see that naked light bulb without a shade. But you see the apples are eaten now and the flowers are passed their peak. So there's no redoing this photo! I told you that it's really real here!

Hi Jannie Pooh! Oh, that little light bulb was hiding pretty well as I had to look for it! Your bedroom is looking so pretty and I just adore your pretty snaps. You really do know how to capture just the perfect look. I have that same pressed glass bowl and it belonged to my mother.
ReplyDeleteHope you've had a nice 4th of July.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Thanks Sheilia!
DeleteJan,
ReplyDeleteThe vignette on the mantle is lovely, dear friend!
Many of us have rooms that transition from one function to another.
I'll be watching for a room reveal, soon!
Fondly,
Pat
Thanks Pat! The bedroom will be soon!
DeleteI have that pretty glass bowl as well (my Mom's)....too funny since we are all in far flung parts of the good ol' USA!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm reading backward today, so I have already visited the lovely room!
You do such a beautiful job with your arrangements!
Blessings,
J
