With so much ugliness in the world today, I wanted to share a few
photos. Delightfully overdone (which is a requirement for me) and full
of color, I hope they bring a bit of happiness and escape from today's
troubles.
Miniature roses in every hue possible, I think. They are sharing the mirror on the coffee table with seashells.
Gorgeous! This is definitely a feel-good post...how can you not smile at all the beautiful flowers? Love all the textures in the room...the rug, throws, pillows, the fringe on the lampshade. Love the colors too...the big thing right now is white and while that is fresh looking, nothing like color for a cozy feel. Thanks for the pick-me-up!
Ah Jan.....so lovely and SO NEEDED!!!!!!! It just makes a bright spot in the day.... I'm in love with the green chair and the painting above it too. It looks as if it is dark sagey/mossy green and that is my favorite color...after red of course :^) Blessings to you, J
Thank you Jaybird! That is a painting by my greatgrandmother. She did several paintings, I have a few but this is my favorite of the ones that live with me, I think. Other times it's a different one!
Beautiful! Yes we need some mental relief from all of the ugly stuff. This is lovely and refreshing!
ReplyDeleteThanks Liz!

ReplyDeleteThanks Donna! I know that white machine is really big and it can be so pretty.
