Sky

blueskyIMG_2466sky3

I hate to admit it but I never noticed the sky when I was young.  It was just up there and I never noticed unless I wanted to go swimming or lay out in the sun.  As I have matured, not that I am old, but haven't been  'wet behind the ears' for a few decades.  Ugh...that sounds like I am old.  Let's just say I have simmered a while.  Yes, that's right.  Like a big pot of something you have been cooking all day on the stove.  And then it's ready.  So I've been simmering a while.  And with all this simmering I have done I see things now so differently.  I get excited when I get to catch a sunset.  Sometimes we just pull over and watch cause its too pretty to miss.  Or I get to walk into a pecan orchard I didn't know was even there.  Or I am so glad I brought my camera with me when I went to the grocery store.  Because sometimes the sunsets are the prettiest at the grocery store.
