Isn't it fun to see them dressed in today's fashions. The hair and makeup transform them.
I don't see how much of an actor they are until I see how they are in real life. Then you can see how they really become the character when filming. He's a little handy, isn't he!
Bates, all serious as usual.
Yes, this is a very young Bates. Does he remind you of someone?
Maybe just a little like George Clooney in his younger days. It's the hair and eyebrows, I think.
Isn't Edith pretty with her makeup on and a very different hairstyle.
Mrs. Patmore has revealed that she can't cook!
Mr. Carson and real life wife Imelda Staunton (Professor Umbridge from Harry Potter).
Mrs. Hughes as on the show and in real life
The Dowager (Maggie Smith as a young woman)

We are still having lots of Spring blooms here. I don't remember having azaleas and roses blooming at the very beginning of the year. The grumpy gardener says this will mean no blooms in the real Spring. It would be nice to cut some and bring them in but I didn't want to damage them since they are so confused already.
I finally got all of the Christmas decorations put away and the house feels bare to me. Do you eat pork and blackeyed peas for New Year's? Do you hide a dime in the peas? Do you eat greens as well? Of course you need a little cornbread too.
