Excuse Me

Excuse me, I am still in Fall.  The leaves are still here and I want to squeeze every bit out of them I can get.  Nature's beauty, her shining star still surrounds me.  I am still in awe and am unable to move forward to the Christmas season just yet.  I will be quiet and just share the beauty.

  1. Jan,
Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful photos of Autumn, dear friend!!!
With the arrival of ICE here on the Prairie, it's beginning to resemble Winter!!!
I have a fern on the covered front porch that refuses to die. . .
I'm wanting to put a few Christmas decorations on the porch, but I've never decorated with or around a fern at Christmas!!!
Thank you for reminding us to enjoy each Season for the beauty that lies within each leaf!!!
    Fondly,
    Pat

    1. Thank you so much Pat! It sure sounds like winter there and you still have a fern alive. That is something! You will definitely have real greenery to use this year for your Christmas decorating!

    1. Oh Sheila. You are too kind to come by and thank me! I continue to have Carter in my prayers. She is a living doll among us mortals. God is beside you, my friend.

    1. Oh I know Princess! It was like this last year. I was decorating inside and slipping outside to take photos of the Fall foliage. Too close together down here!

  5. Your pictures are beautiful and so peaceful. I totally agree with Miss Pat; we need to enjoy each Season for the beauty that lies within each leaf. In the world of hurry, hurry, hurry, this post reminds us to slow down.

    1. Thank you Donna! Nature gives us just what we need, doesn't it?! It's hard to focus on decorating with so much beauty outdoors.

  6. Gorgeous Jan! Sometimes no words are necessary; so often the case when viewing God's creation. We can add nothing; just take it in and ponder how magnificent He and His creation really are!

Thanks so much for sharing at AMAZE ME MONDAY!
    Blessings,
    Cindy

  7. Gorgeous! So fun to see the leaves and autumn through your eyes. Dropped by from Amaze Me Monday #139. Will pin it, as I LOVE colors so much. Take a peek at "Shower Yourself with Kindness" if you can. It's especially good to remember this around holiday time, when nerves can get frazzled. For some, dealing with challenging family members or hectic activities can throw one off balance. Have a serene holiday. Nancy A @ obloggernewbie.blogspot.com
