Faux Spring Day

Let’s spring a little Spring today.  I know we are knee deep in Valentine’s Day hoorah but I am crazy for Spring to get here.  Aren’t you?  So I am sharing a painting I have that hasn’t found its permanent home yet here.  I have hung it several places but I am not quite sure where it will live  yet.  I know some of you like to rearrange your art and I do some but if it looks good I usually leave it alone.  But for now we can pretend Spring has arrived.

I bought it at a consignment store a few years back.  When I saw it I gasped.  Florals just do that to me.  So I didn’t hesitate to buy it because I thought it was so pretty.  It’s signed by Jack Swift.  I don’t have any knowledge other than that.  Isn’t there a musician named that?  No, I am thinking of Taylor Swift and Jack White, I guess.

It’s sitting on the buffet right now.  So Spring is just a glance away.

It’s a fairly tall painting and photographing it with the flowers under it can be a bit tricky.

Played around with turning the painting around and facing the old mirror.

Hope you have a sweet week.
