Turnip Roots and Roses

Hey!  How are you?  I’ve been playing around with a Fall vignette again.  The buffet is still decorated and I wanted to share the dining table so you can see them decorated together.   The light can be tricky in here so I took a few inside and then took the party outside.  Lots of color on the table and everywhere in the dining area!

Copper, old burgundy throw, green velvet pumpkin, roses and a rooster was the beginning of this. I always loved burgundy and as you can see I have it or some variation of it in here.   Than I went to the grocery store and bought some Fall produce!

Took these outside for some close ups.   Turnip roots have the prettiest color!

Roses, fennel and red cabbage among others.

This is my Sonny boy!  He likes getting his picture taken!  My daughter was right beside the table in case he decided to jump out.

And back inside.  Are you a tweaker?  I can’t leave seasonal decorating alone, so if you notice the vignette is still evolving.  I imagine I will keep ‘playing’ with it up until I start decorating for Christmas!

Fall Porches Part Two

Hey! How are you?  Today I have lots of Fall decorating on front porches and yards.  It is a long post, full of pretty photos for you to enjoy.  So grab something to sip on and find a comfortable chair!  Hope you enjoy it and I saved the best for last!

And if you have held on with me this long, I saved the best for last!  This will be a blast for the kids!

Pretty Pie Pumpkins

Hey!  How are you?  There’s been a little playing on the back porch today.  Let’s see what I have going on.

Pumpkins and light green roses.  There is also the brass pitcher with dried roses.

The light green roses look white they are so light.  Pie pumpkins that will make some yummy pies later.

Roses from the yard.  I pulled a sweet potato vine and looped it through.  Loving the burgundy fabric with the fall pumpkins!

I promise this is green in person!

A little silver on the table as well.

Isn’t this a pretty photo of the sky?  I have my blog name on it but my daughter took it.  We were riding in the car and the sunset was on her side and I got her to snap a couple for me.

Couple of Changes

Hey!  How are ya’ll?  I made a couple of changes in the living room.  I like to leave the light blue pillow covers  with the roses on them on the sofa year round.  It breaks up the red on the sofas.  There are dried hydrangeas on the sofa table behind the sofa.

I left these roses to dry in the brass pitcher sitting on the coffee table and they have a fallish look to them.  The green throw I bought a decade ago!  Dried lavender rose petals scattered on top of the throw.

I tried a different look with the fall flowers on the sofa table here.  The container and the colors of the arrangement definitely say fall.  I like it next to the painting with gold frame.

Yes, they are faux!  I think they work really well for fall.

I couldn’t help but notice how the colors are so similar!    Red leaves ~ Red sofa.    Aqua blue sky ~ Pillows.    Green Leaves ~ Green painted walls.
